Teachers set boundaries for appropriate use - confiscated for the day
Phone texting in the library / computer room - too big a challenge to fight that battle - there needs to be role models for others
- how do we feel about texting during the school day - there is no difference here and with other rules in school
Do the right thing because it is the rigth thing to do - what are the steps to making the data something meaningful.
BEST practice work - where is the backbone to this? people clearly do not know the policies Is there interest in getting the student survery of technology use?

how long are you "on"
How often ar you plugged in? Computer Use

is it academic?
is it entertainment?
is it for audio files?
social networking use?
can we establish a social network for academic work on facebook?
what is the effectiveness of the on-line courses?
would you take another course
there are several issues with teh on-line couses
find the positive and model those and id those that are negative and detracting the time in class - how can we teach them that there is a better way to do this?
